How to perform Business activities using Ace Contact Manager?

Hi dear, I want to share my experience with you.You know, when I am working in this company with ‘ACE Contact Manager 7’ software, I get calls from customers. On ACE7, I am so excited and feel like communicating face-to-face because customer photo is in front of me on the contact screen.

ACE7 shows the ring of incoming call and the incoming number. I took the customer number and searched in customer database using lookup  and it displayed all details of the existing customer. During this call, I asked their problem details and noted in memo of ACE7.


The link icon is Link Icon shows me the equipment record – the equipment that customer is using. So, I know all the details on incoming call before I receive the call.
After hearing the customer problem, I verified the available Service engineer database for specialists in that particular problem and assign work to the available Service engineer using ‘schedule an event’ facility ACE software is so flexible.

While scheduling an event there is a facility to click on ‘Record’ radio button in order to select the service engineer record from service engineer database.

 After this I had to select the equipment which is to be repaired. For this, I had to select the radio button for ‘Record’ near ‘Regarding’ and select the record of the faulty equipment from the equipment database.

When I saved the event, ACE contact manager automatically sent an email to the service engineer with the details of customer, equipment, date and time.

This way I could assign a task to the service engineer, even if, the engineer is not a user of ACE software. Then I set the Date and time.

When assigned service engineer finishes the work, she/he informs me about the completion, and I changed the status of the event to ‘Finish’.

With ACE7, the operation is so easy, no chance to forget and neglect the Customer who is so happy, because problem is solved with a good service.


Now I must maintain expenses incurred for this customer in terms of spare parts or travel or other incidental expenses. So I Click on Expense icon  in ACE7 contact screen for the same customer.

I add details of expenses like traveling expense and spare cost etc.

I select the name of the service engineer by selecting the record from the service engineer database so that s/he gets the incentive for the good work


Customer Portfolio

I can easily calculate profit and loss by selecting from and to date for particular customer and I can view the report also through customer portfolio of ACE7 . To come to the screen, please click on 'Report' and select 'Customer Portfolio'. Invoice of the customer is more than total expense as in fig. This report shows the profitability of the company.
